Phil
Santa Maria's "Other" Life
| Home Page |

Remember back to that one night
when we were in high school and we all made sure to watch Ted Mack's Amateur Hour. Riverside's Phil Santa Maria played
Malaguena and we were all so proud to claim that we knew someone who was on
national television. Well, Phil has never stopped playing, and now he has a
group called 'Santa Maria' (imagine that) that is widely known and very
successful.
"Santa Maria's" repertoire includes:
Contemporary music, Broadway
Show tunes, Movie Themes, Big Band Sounds, Rhythm & Blues, Rock & Roll,
Mood Music, Vocals, and Jazz.
"Santa
Maria" has appeared at:
Rockwell
Hall (Buffalo State College), Alumni Arena (University of Buffalo), Buffalo
Convention Center, Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Shea's Buffalo Theatre, Buffalo
Hilton Hotel, Chautauqua Institute, The Marriott, Buffalo Yacht Club, Artpark,
Canisius College, The Buffalo Club, The Hyatt Hotel, The Saturn Club, The Tralf,
Niagara University, and the Studio Arena Theatre.
Phil's namesake group includes Krista Seddon on the piano, Tom Renzi on the drums, and Craig Hodnett on the bass. Besides his work with the group, Phil has appeared several times on national television and has performed with other groups in major cities from New York's Ed Sullivan Theatre to Moscow's Cosmos Hotel. He has also performed on radio and in commercials.
