Comments
This is another cute
romantic comedy that Meg Ryan has done so well over the last
many years --- perhaps too many. Historically, I have enjoyed
Meg in these type films very much. I liked the story line in
this one and I liked the supporting cast very much. Hugh Jackman
was excellent as the romantic lead and Breckin Meyer does a
great job as Meg's brother. My only problem - and it may be only
MY problem - was that Meg Ryan didn't seem right to me. Either
her heart wasn't in it, or she's gotten too old for these roles,
but she just wasn't as good as she was in all the other ones.
The movie was enjoyable and I liked everything but Meg. Go see
it just to find out if I'm being too hard an Meg. |
