Comments
I went to see this
movie with a little trepidation. Reviews had been mixed from
"very bad" to "very good". I wasn't sure
what to expect. Also, having seen 'Black Hawk Down' and 'Behind
Enemy Lines' recently, I wasn't sure that I was up to another
war movie. Never fear, Hart's War is really just a drama that
has WW II as its setting. I thought it was a very good movie
that is focused around a court martial (trial) in a POW
camp. The plot is broader than that but I won't say too much.
The acting is very good and the story was a nice change from
what I've been seeing lately. There is almost NO 'shoot-'em-up'
war type stuff so don't expect your standard war movie. But if
you're ready for a drama, I think you'll enjoy it. |
