Physical Agility Test
Handgun and Shotgun:
While holding the handgun in a firing position,
you must demonstrate that you have the hand size and grip strength necessary
to pull the trigger of the handgun with both your right and left hands.
From a shoulder position, you must fully open
and close the slide of the shotgun two times while keeping the barrel pointed
down the range - this will be done from both of your shoulders.
Body Drag:
This test simulates dragging someone who is physically
incapacitated. It requires you to lift and drag a life-like dummy that
is lying face up on the floor. The dummy must be dragged 32 feet. When
lifting and dragging the dummy, do not grab or pull the dummy by the head
or arms or jerk it, as this may damage the dummy. You will begin the event
by lifting the dummy and telling the proctor when you are ready to begin.
Timing starts when the dummy's feet cross the start line, and ends when
the dummy's feet cross the finish line. You must complete this event
in less than 28.0 seconds to receive any points. (Two Trials)
99 Yard Obstacle Course:
This event simulates a short distance foot pursuit
such as might occur in a parking lot. The event requires you to make frequent
changes in direction while running as fast as possible. You must complete
this event in less than 33.6 seconds to receive any points. (Two Trials)
Chain Link Fence Climb:
This event tests your ability to climb over a
six foot chain link fence. The time it takes you to climb the fence will
be recorded. You must run 5 yards up to the fence, and continue running
another 25 yards to the finish line. You may use any method you wish to
get over the fence. However, you may not use the side supports to help
you get over the fence. If you do use the side supports, you will fail
this event. If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt to go over the
fence, continue trying until the proctor calls "STOP". You must complete
this event in less than 15.2 seconds to receive any points. (Two Trials).
Solid Fence Climb:
