Our goal in the library is to encourage a love of reading and teach literacy skills the children of St Rose can take to high school and beyond. Each month the library holds a contest. Come into the library for your chance to win $10.00 worth of books at the annual Book Faire. This month winner is Matthew in the 3rd grade. Congratulations. We are currently in the process of cataloging all of the books in the library. We hope to have a search capabilities soon. In the mean time here are the links to look up books at Roseville Public Library and Placer County Library. First--Fourth come in for 20 minutes each week. To view the class schedule go to calendar or click here. During that time, students will check out a book for one week and hear a story or do an activity. This month the focus is on Christmas with an emphasis on Laura Ingles Wilder. The Fifth--Eighth grade can come in during the lunch recess to check out books or use the computers for school use. Just a reminder, borrowed books are due back to the school library on the due date stamped on the inside cover of the book. Lost or damaged books are the responsibility of the borrower. A minimum $10.00 fine will be charged for lost or damaged books. The student who signed out the book is responsible for an overdue or lost book. Writing in library books is not permitted. We look forward to seeing you. Mrs. Silva & Mrs. Bresniker--Library Coordinators |
