OBSERVATIONS:

These images are of asteroid 2002NY40 taken on the night of August 17th-18th as it made
a close pass of earth. The exposures were 30 seconds.

The above image of the sun was taken in April '01. The sun spots resulted in auroral displays in Northern California!

The above is an image of the crescent moon through a C-8!

The above spectra were taken with an ST-7 equipped with a Rainbow Optics grating. Exposures were 2 to 20 seconds through an 8" aperture!

The above spectra were taken with an ST-4 equipped with a Rainbow Optics grating. Exposures were 5 seconds through a 6" aperture! Download the raw spectra here.
